sandy_labana
I am thinking of going to Galapagos Islands for vacation. Does anybody know if there are good photography oppurtunities? Sandy
val_brunell
Sandy...There will be fabulous photo opportunities! Wildlife closeups without long lenses! Birds, turtles, sea lions, penguins, iquanas., etc. Also, if you snorkel or dive, underwater photography at its best. Also gorgeous land/seascapes! Search for Galapagos photos on the web to see what a wonderful place it is for photography. Hope this helps...Val
sandy_labana
Thanks Val for your answer. I think, I am well equiped for over land photography but I guess I should buy an underwater camera. Sandy
alex_lofquist
I'd like to suggest a couple books for those who wish to photograph in the Galapagos Islands: "A Traveler's Guide to the Galapagos Islands" by Barry Boyce. ISBN: 1-55650-850-6. An excellent hands-on vademecum for the photographer. "The Galapagos Islands" by Pierre Constant. ISBN: 962-217-580-5. Fine photgraphs of both flora and fauna.
