Photographic film Hurt & Driffield curve

After playing around with hypergeometric curves, I finally find a function with

resembles closely the Hurt & Driffield curve. The H&D curve consists of three part, the toe,

the linear part and the shoulder.

The toe is the dart part of film, where the curve is flat, meaning that there is very little

detail.

The should is the hight light of film, where also detains are lost

For a good picture, try to keed the image withing the linear part, that means avoid

strong highligt and avoid too dark scenes
