Photoflex Softbox Question (Grid's)

I have a couple Photoflex MultiDome Medium Softboxes. (24"x32")

I want to buy a grid, but don't want to pay the $100 Photoflex is asking for

it.

Does anyone have these and have they fit and 3rd party ones on?

Some grids may attach with slightly different methods, or certain sides, so I'm

unsure.

I'm interested in the answer to this, too. So far, I haven't been able to find any 3rd party grids or egg crates. The closest I've come to a budget solution is actually a DIY solution.

The guy originating the post bought an Amvona softbox kit for about $50, and it *comes with* a grid. If there are no other alternatives, it might be an OK solution to buy the kit for the sole purpose of getting the grid. I believe Amvona softboxes are supposed to be Photoflex knock-offs, so the construction and attachment methods should be the same.

The Amvona X-Large is the same size as the Photoflex Medium, so it's $60.

Granted it comes with a couple extra's, but I was hoping to get away cheaper as I only need the grid.

I'll search around a little longer before going the Amvona route.
