Photo Arts Santa Fe

It's been awhile since I've posted, but wanted to provide a link to

this in case anyone is interested.<br><br>

It's actually been going on for a week, but most of the gallery

shows will run through the end of the month. Work is being shown in

Santa Fe and Albuquerque. <br><br>

 

Should I show up at the reception where I'm showing, or go meet Lee

Friedlander? Also any artists showing that you recommend me

seeing? I won't be able to hit them all.

BTW this will be the second reception for the group show I'm in, the first was opening night (July 1st) but this one is Photo Arts reception if that makes any sense. I felt totally weird at the first one. I didn't know anybody there so I just kind of hung around and watched people look at my photos. I only met two of the other photographers.

Jenna, I'll make sure to go check out the show when I get back from New York!

(No offense intended in any of these responses. It's really late, so the humor I see may in fact be an illusion.)<br>

1) Eew. That guy's work is kinda creepy. Reception. Definitely.<br>

2) Go meet Lee so you can settle the "Genius or Talentless hack" controversy<br>

3) Go to your reception, but take your camera so you'll at least be entertained.<br>

So I guess my advice would be 2-to-1 in favor of the reception. FWIW. YMMV. Void in Alaska, Utah, and Alabama.

This is great news. Congratulations Jenna. Maybe ask Friedlander to come see your photos.

Went to my show's reception so unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet Friedlander. Missed out on Alex Webb's lecture too so I'm kind of disappointed. Oh well I should at least get a chance to see some of these shows. I've yet to see any Friedlander prints so I'm looking forward to it.
