Ricochetrider Posted July 9, 2022 Share Posted July 9, 2022 (edited) Sounds ghastly ha ha ha... not my faves for sure... although a couple guys from Poison are local to here and I sort of vaguely know the drummer, Rikki Rocket through mutual friends- we all ride old British motorcycles, so he's in my periphery of motorcycle friends across the U.S. but he also is from here so there will probably be some of my buddies wandering around backstage on day of show, which will be a nice departure for me on a work day. Besides that, most of the shpws I work are either pop music, country, or whatever. Some good ol rock and roll is always welcome- whatever form it comes in. You think these guys are bad, try Lamb Of God on for size, then consider hearing them on headset through the lighting director's open microphone! Motley Crue & Poison are a walk in the park on a sunny morning, comparably. LOL Def Leppard is what they is... kinda innocuous, really. Pretty harmless at this point. As an aside, I think Joan Jett is pretty cool. I've worked gigs she was playing at and seen her live as an actual audience member. She's pretty great, still rockin'.
