bill_thorlin
I wonder if anyone is like me and makes small modifications to make life that little bit simpler ? Remote control cover and accessory ( flash ) shoe cover. These little items are so easy to lose/mislay and so difficult to see in the camera bag due to the black colour. My solution is to cut some self-adhesive white labels to size and stick the on - at least they are more easily visible. Lens and body caps. I learnt the hard way in dusty game parks ( ever tried to cope with lava dust ?!! ) that you need to get that lens change done pronto and cover the rear of the lens asap. My solution is to mark the locating points ( which you align with the red dots ) of these caps with white marker fluid so that they effectively jump out at you on the black background and you seem to instinctively pick them up ready to fit. OK I know there are also white versions but the solution is to mark these with blue or black indelible pens. I also know there are push-on/in body caps but I do not trust them and do not use them ( a sign to me of Minolta trying to economise on cost ). Anybody got any other "tricks" ?
