<p>Hey all,<br /> This weekend, I joined up with a group of my friends to go caving at Tumbling Rock Cave in Scottsboro, AL. The trip itself was a blast, but it came with a welcome surprise:<br /> When we arrived at the entrance, we were greeted by the property managers to register, etc, and immediately one of them, staring at the K10D in my hand, goes "oh wow... you're holding a Pentax". Turns out both of the managers were Pentaxians, and expert cave photographers at that. We nerded out about our cameras for a few minutes (to the supreme confusion of the rest of my group, i'm sure), before heading into the cave (my photos below). <p>Special thanks to: Nathan, for giving me the general idea for that first shot. My friends, for not leaving me by myself in the cave while I broke down my tripod and lighting stuff (well, the did it once, but I forgive them). Pentax, for weather-sealing my camera!!</p>

<p>Good photos! I like the second one best. Has a good scale with the height and distribution of he headlamps. Way to go!</p>

<p>Very cool, Adam! I agree with John about #2.</p>

<p>Most of those would make big wonderful custom prints (would require work to save some of the faces)....</p>

<p>I agree, that second shot is particularly awesome. I haven't been spelunking since I was a teenager but it was great fun at the time.</p>

<p>That's some really cool stuff, Adam. I agree with the others about the second shot. I enjoy the pictures but I don't think you'd ever get me in there. Looking forward to the next set.</p>

<p>That 2nd shot is just fantastic! and I loved caving back in college! i would always buy goodwill clothes the day before since they would get ruined and i didn't have to wash them. now the ol' knees cant bend that way and there's a spare tire attached to my gut which means I can't squeeze in like before...<br>

<p>Adam: great work! I have to send this Photo.net link to my son in Vancouver ... he's a mountain climber and avid cave ... "whatever you call people who climb down caves".<br>
