Interest in this thread seems to have waned considerably recently - should it be rested for a while, or ended altogether ?
A somewhat resounding silence ensued - 'normal' service may be resumed after the holiday season. Hope everyone has fun.
Since when has inactivity been a matter of concern here?
Here's a Plus-X Heiland Pentax H2 image from the summer of 19-aught and 60.
(what is the beardless whelp going? acting as scale, of course. For what is too complex...)
I'm still here but with a bunch of problems going on here.real quick, my wife's mom passed , then her younger brother 6 months later and just 3 weeks ago I have finally got her father here to live with us in virginia.many trips back and forth to Pennsylvania but it's done.one he'll of a journey.
My mom passed last November and just a couple of weeks ago have sold her house. That's finally done.
I'm still working full time with very little time to take pics.and I must have 25 rolls of film to develop let alone scan and post.
So Tony don't shut it down , just keep plugging away and we'll be fine.
Maybe start an idea project for people to focus on or something like it.homework
Have also been dealing with a family emergency, so photography has been a pretty low priority for the past 2 months. Hope to contribute again sometime soon.
Very sorry to hear of everyone's issues, and I fully realise that photography has to fit in with many other activities. Not been out much myself thanks to the heatwave (COPD affects me in hot weather).
I like the idea of a project, but many of these are covered to a greater or lesser extent in other threads, especially in 'No Words'. Has anyone any suggestions, please ?
Suggestion - restart as from September 1, but people are welcome to add to the current thread should they so wish.
All the best to everyone.
I look forward to the restart. I will be glad to contribute images to the thread.
That's great, Mike, thanks very much. Look forward to seeing your images.
Taken with my older Pentax K50 and 18-55 lens. Unfortunately, my K50 is developing the aperture block failure problem.
