Hi,
This is the next question. After some preamble will come the question mark.
The Nikon D5200 will not meter with Nikon non AI glass I think, but the K-50 will meter anything fitted to it. Is this correct? !
I have old Nikon lenses 28, 50, 55, and 135 I would like to be able to use.

There may be some kind of adaptor for use of old Nikon glass on Pentax, especially if the ones you have are screw mount. You can get Pentax DSLRs to meter with old manual lenses, with a push of a button... but it takes a little experience to learn the degree you will need to compensate for its being a bit off at different apertures. In other words, metering is not accurate, or becomes less accurate as you change the aperature, but this is a predictable degree once you get used to it.
BTW if you do not need the "scene" modes, or slight upgrade in video performance, a new left over original K-5 might be available at a similar price to the K50, and is a finer camera with more on-body pro style controls and build. It is of similar size and weight. Amazon may be a place to look.
