alexander_starcevic
Lately I have heard a lot of good comments on the Pentax 645's 80- 160mm Zoom. My father-in-law has a Pentax and this lens and I am free to use it, but I must admit that I've fallen in love with 6x6 for portraits (I'm using a Mamiya 6 right now, which has some limitations for portraits). Now my question is the following: since I also have an old Bronica S2, would it be possible to adapt the 80-160mm Zoom (has it enough coverage)? Has anybody tried this? Would it be complicated (= expensive)? I was also looking around for a portrait lens for the Bronica. There were not that many lenses in the used shops. The only one in the 150mm-200mm region I found was a Nikkor 200mm. Any comments on that one? I would be grateful for any input! ward
I have an old Bronica, and use the Nikkor 200mm lens. I love is so much, I can't begin to do it justice. Wonderful, solid, smooth clear, sharp. There are dozens of articles on "lens hacking" for the old Bronicas on the Medium Format web site on the SMU website.
