jim_appleyard
After a search for a time for Pan-F in Beutler, all I can up with is 1+1+8 for 4.5 min. That sounds a bit short to me and I'd like to do something longer. Is this a favorite combo for anyone out there in photo.net-land and can you share your dilutions, times and other info? Thanks. dbltap4
Funny you should bring this up; I just used Beutler's for the first time yesterday. I used 1:1:8 to process a roll of Neo 400 for 12'. I would try the same mix for 6'. I believe the time for slow speed films are about half 400 and higher speed films. Also, agitated 10" each 1 1/2'. Was very pleased with the results. Very high accutance, and good tonal rendition. Rated Neo @200, tho. Let us know how it works for you. JIM
dbltap4
In case your interested, there is a current thread running on digital truth forum about Beutler under the heading sodium carbonate. Jim
