P67 consistently under-exposing

My 6x7 (non-MLU) has lately been consistently underexposing by 2-3

stops. The shutter (to my ear) doesn't sound too fast; could it be the

lens diapragm somehow? The shots are metered with my handheld meter,

which has been confirmed accurate, yet when I use the recommended

settings I get thin negs.

I've checked, and the auto-aperture appears to be functioning

correctly-- the same diaphragm opening happens when I fire the shutter

and when I stop down the lens.

The under-exposed negs were all shot at 1/60 at f/8, set manually,

again, metered with my handheld meter.

I'm not averse to a bit of minor disassemly to adjust timing springs,

etc if necessary.

Where should I take my p67 to get repaired in NYC? I know Professional

Camera Repair on 47th St. closed last year; where are people heading

these days?

Thanks for posting Josh. I had a filter in place and have since removed it since your mention of your forum access problem.

My experience with this camera underexposing, was caused by a low battery. The shutter speed was off. I suggest Silver Oxide if you are going to replace yours.

For repairs, I use Pentax USA in Colorado.
