[OT?] where to find this lens in Miami?

Hi,

Do anybody know a store in Miami selling the Canon lens EF 85mm

f/1.2 L USM? I'm looking for MKI version and not MKII .

I searched on the Canon's site but there are too many stores listed

and no guarantee to find it!

I also wrote to Pitman Photo store but that lens is out of stock.

I will stay there only two days (flight stop-over in transit to

Ecuador) and I cannot walk all Miami around:-(

 

Moreover my spoken english is not fluent and this may be a problem

if I phone.

If you speak Spanish, you will have few problems in Miami. Try finding the Miami Yellow Pages on line. You should be able to find all of the camera shops there. Afterwards, you can contact them by phone, e-mail, or website to see who would have what you want. Do not waste time with Ritz or Wolf Camera, they are not really not for pros. When you find someone who has what you want, then you can use the web to find the Metro Dade County Transit Authority (or search for Miami Bus) and find out how to get there. In the past there was an express bus from the airport to downtown and from there you could get a local city bus to anywhere you needed to get to. Good Luck!
