winfried_buechsenschuetz1
What you told us were just the designators of the shutter (Gauthier used to be a major shutter manufacturer in Germany) and of the lens (C. Friedrich was a smaller supplier of lenses). I have heard of Friedrich lenses on cameras of the 1920s or so. Unfortunately at this era there were many small manufacturers (sometimes craftsmen) making camera bodies and equipping them with shutters and lenses supplied by other manufacturers. Some of these camera manufacturers even did not leave a nameplate on their bodies since those were distributed by wholesalers (and sometimes even local dealers) with their respective labels. So unfortunately sometimes it is close to impossible to trace down a german camera from the 1920s.
francois_gauthier
I have a Certosix camera 'original Gauthier' (i like the name) wich is the shutter. You will find 3 info on the camera : A- maker and model B- lens C- shutter. Often those last 2 are more obvious and confused with the model.
