daniel_subbotin
Greetings to everyone. I am brand new to photo.net and just registered although I have been browsing through the forum for many past months now. It is really amazing how connected this community of professional and amateure photographers are. For all those who are familiar with the Canadian manufacturer, OPUS lighting equipment, I can really use some insight. I have 2x K500s. The step down model (L300 - 300w/s) strobes have an option of having a location battery (OPUS OPL-L301 BAT) that is 'designed' for use with the L300 series strobes. It's marketed to provide approx. 300 shots on a single charge. Has anyone tried to to use the battery on the K500s? I don't have any electrical background and really wouldn't know if it would short out or ... I don't know shock me. My best presumption would be that it would supply power to the strobes but just provide fewer shots. Any help would be appreciated.
