lee hamiel
As the title says - please list only one of each. If this has been done before then perhaps it can be considered an updatedversion of the post. I tend to ramble on & on so it would be nice if people could simply list thethree items only without adding a lot of other options etc. Imagine you are leaving on an extended trip and you can only take one M body, one lens & one type of film. Or - that this is the last combination you can own or buy & boil it down the thebare essentials. Regards

george_b1
From 1968 to 1977, I carried an M4 with a 50 Summicron plus either Kodachrome 25 and 64, or later, Fuji 100. Couldn't stick with one film for color. However, changed light meters three times in that interval < grin >. Now, it would be an M7, our 50 Summilux ASPH, and Astia 100. ron_h__portland_
MP, 50mm Elmar-M f/2.8, Fuji Neopan 400 Small, and fast enough. I carry this combo nearly every day. Ron
len_smith
M7 body, 35mm Summicron (version 4) and Kodak BW400CN. The M7 because it has aperture priority AE, the Summicron because it has the best possible combination of sharpness and bokeh and 35mm is a good focal length for travel photography, and Kodak BW400CN for its good resolution, moderate grain and ease of developing and printing at any minilab across the world. And also because that's what I shoot with, most of the time! ;-)
dan flanders
M6 Classic, Collapsible Summicron, TriX -- or IIIa, Collapsible Sumicron, TriX. I would prefer the latter on sentimental principles and when space is a factor but the former whenloading convenience fis important.

andrew1
M3, 50mm Summicron Dual Range, 400 B&W negative film. I switch around between Tri-X, HP5, Adox, Lucky, and others. Sometimes I even shoot XP2, when I need/want fast (lazy) processing. I can't resist trying new films and new developers; but my camera, lens and film speed stay the same.
