<p>As part of The Week of Photography in Holland, On Photography: Online Film Festival starts this Thursday 9/26/13 & airs for 4 days all over the world for free. Hope you’ll tune in to watch. On Photography Film Festival is an online film festival on photography which will be held on 26-29 September, 2013 as part of the FOTOWEEK in Holland, an initiative of Foam and the Netherlands Photo Museum. Curated by Barbera Brakel and Erica McDonald, OP Film Festival is new event dedicated to spotlighting still photography and photographers through films and multimedia.</p>

<p>On Photography will air for four days concurrent with Amsterdam's Unseen Photo Fair. Each day the online festival will screen about 2 hours of films and videos that will run in a loop for 24 hours and will be watchable all over the globe for free.</p>

<p>The selected works exhibit the diversity of photography and its practitioners, raise questions and provoke discussion of educational value and include the full length films: Worldstar by Natasa von Kopp, ZOWNIR: Radical Man by M.A. Littler, The destiny of Clara B by Alexandru Solomon, While Everyone Else Sleeps by Erdem Murat Çelikler, Chasing Ice by Jeff Orlowski, Photo Souvenir by Paul Cohen and Martijn van Haalen, Photographer from Riga by Maud Nycander, The Portraitist by Irek Dobrowolski and Fragile by Christian Klinger.</p>

<p>For the closing day, guest curator Erica McDonald will select a combination of multimedia pieces by contemporary photographers that showcase the still photograph alongside short films about some of the greatest photographers through time, including works by/about Jason Eskenazi, Wendel White, Anthony Sherin, David Oates and Mishka Henner, Carolyn Drake, Antoine D'Agata, Juri Rechinsky, Kate Fowler and Mark Strandquist, William Eggleston, August Sander, Reiner Holzemer, Anja Hitzenberger and Edward Ratliff, Jean-François Dars and Anne Papillault, Andre Kertesz, Bob Miller, Cornell Capa, Trisha Ziff, Rachel Elizabeth Seed, Hanna Sawka, Dennis Stock, Irina Rozovsky, Ken Schles and Alen MacWeeney.</p>
