ginon_lee
Hi,I just developed my first roll of film from my PEN EE3. And it seems like thiscamera's got a very soft focusing effect or my cam is out of focus? RegardsChris
john_robison3
The Pen EE3 is a fixed focus camera. I believe the lens is set to about 12 ft or perhaps 15 ft. Olympus relied on DOF to cover enough range for pictures to be sharp enough. Shots made with slow film or in dim light would be opened up to f3.5 where DOF would be the least. Perhaps the lens is dirty inside or even suffers from internal fungus or it may have been taken apart and reassembled wrong(least likely I would think). Don't know if any of this helps but might give you a few things to check into.
patrick j dempsey
If you can find something like the EES2, that allows for focusing, and is a very nice little camera.
