1960's Super Angulon. Post war coated prime lenses can often work as well as modern ones.
  4. 28mm f/3.5 Nikkor from the 1970s on a D600 - just doesn't feel right.

Sony NEX-6 with 50mm f:1.8 Canon Super-Canonmatic R lens from circa 1960 Canonflex. A nice sharp lens. Mounted with FOTGA FD/FL adapter with stop-down pin removed (lens has separate manual focus).

  16. Original 50mm f 1.4 pre Ai that came on my 1960's Nikon FTn. Shot done with my then new D70. I had to file off some flange to put the lens on the D70. My father was just sitting in his chair and I explained I was playing around with a very old lens on a digital camera and needed a test shot. His look is one of curiosity. 8x10 dad in chair.jpg
