Number of shots taken: EOS 400D

How do I look up the Number of shots taken from a EOS 400D camera?

 

If you've used more than one card, you can't. See this thread for slightly more info.

 

I set mine up for continuous numbering. All I have to do is take a shot and see what the file name is. Now somewhere down the road I'll have to do some addition.
