NPPA member "nailed" on Colbert Report

<p>During the "Nailed 'em" segment on Monday's episode of the Colbert Report, Stephen exposes a dangerous terrorist arrested for photographing an Amtrak train:</p>

<p>Weird. It worked this morning, but now there doesn't seem to be any video from the last month or so on the site. I think this is a colbertnation.com problem; hope it is fixed soon. </p>

<p>I am definitely resting easier now that I know how vigilant our Amtrak police are.</p>

<p>Well, I for one am just ecstatic that our fine law enforcement agencies are "on the ball".<br>

This will <em>force</em> Al Quaeda (sp?) into the dark recesses of the public library where, I am certain, the full blueprints of the whole freakin' system are still sitting right there on a shelf.</p>

<p>"Now, that's funny." Actually, its pathetic. We've become just as idiotic as the British! Simple cultures in third world countries, when first<br>

confronted with photography, feared the camera was "taking something" from them. This incident reveals how law enforcement officers<br>

react at about the same level of sophistication. </p>

<p>Walter, I happen to think it is both.</p>

<p>Mel Brooks demonstrated (rather elegantly, I believe), that one of the easiest methods of neutralizing those with malicious intent is to laugh at them.</p>
