kohanmike
A post on the Nikon forum about a D300s got me thinking about efficient or unique ways photographers note the names people they photograph at an event for use in captions. It would be great to have a function in the camera to make notes and link it to that shot. One thought is using the sound recording for video in some way. Anyone do anything different than hand writing notes?
Mattman944
For posed head and shoulder shots, I read where the photographer had each person write their name on a small paper plate and then held it near waist level. It was later cropped it out. The paper plate was stiff enough so it could be held with one hand even in a little breeze.
dave_hoffmann
Many high end cameras (at least with Canon) have audio recording to tag onto the photograph. That's how many sports photographers keep track of the plays they are shooting.
savagesax
Dave, I use this myself, for events. (1ds mk3) You can do this (record) with each image if you wish.

kohanmike
I like the idea of recording audio tags. I'll have to check if the D300s can be used that way. My events don't lend themselves to having the subject hold a card.
