NOS ... "New, Old Stock" Lenses On Auction Site ??

Hi y'all. Rumors of my demise and or abandonment of LF photography

have been greatly exagerated. It's just too hot down here for heavy

lifting and I've been goofing off with lesser instruments.

 

Anybody buy anything yet from this guy in Canada selling 'new, old

stock' Schneider LF lenses? He claims to be an established

photographic wholesaler (CWE) but I notice he offers no waranty on

these 'new' items. He's got a 100% positive feedback with 284

transactions.

 

I suppose people are stepping up and paying 90% or retail for these?

Seems to be the way of e*** these days. I also notice he does not

say anything about the accuracy or condition of the shutters.

If it's who I think it is they used to [might still] bring in Kiev cameras. Seemed to sell mostly consumer film in large quanities. I guess to corner stores etc.

These guys are A-OK. I bought a brand new Super Symmar HM 210mm on Ebay from them. Fantastic lens and a righteous price.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. You can reach them by phone, they communicate well. They respond. I made a purchase from them and was not sure that I had a perfect product. They immediately sent another at their expense the same day I called. My questions were baseless, thier performance was super. All together a pleasant experiance.
