jack paradise
That's one of the reason I put up that link to the D70 vs RebelXT comparision!
bill_tuthill
Whoa, I like that RebelXT advantage "available in both black andsilver body." It's handy to use your camera as a signal mirror incase of emergency.

albertdarmali
They forgot one thing... The box that comes with 350D is nicer. Albert.
phil vaughan - yorkshire u
What a load of garbage, I have never read such a load of tripe in my life. The D70 has a worse viewfinder than the 300d (and just about every other DSLR, the 350d is the same or better than the 300d, the review says of the D70 viewfinder type; "Pentaprism type. Brighter and clearer viewing", then about the 350d "Penta Mirror type", no direct comparison? can we ask why? About AE bracketing, in the table the 350d "3 frames -2.0 to +2.0 ? or 1/3 step increments" in the comparison "Auto Exposure bracketing 2 or 3 frames vs 2 frames with Rebel XT"(sic). Well can he count? High speed flash sync, overlooked because the D70 has a higher traditional sync speed. The lens on the Nikon is superior, and it has a true spot meter, they're the only advantages, they're both built from plastic on a metal chassis, however the Nikon feels a little more substantial, this is a matter of taste. Important to enough people. The Canon offers better compatibility with hundreds of older Nikon lenses, is this mentioned. Multi flash; "E-TTL II with EX series Speedlites, wireless multi-flash support with optional ST-E2 transmitter. ($300 CAN accessory 01/03/05)" We won't mention the other flashguns that can control multiple flash setups (including 3rd party), as this will mean we (Nikon) lose an advantage. No mention of the custom parameter setting on the 350d? Was the review copy broken? Where are the image comparisons, how about the metering comparisons, because lets face it, it doesn't matter whether the meter has 35 or 35000 segments, or what colour they measure. What matters is "do they provide accurate metering" This review is aimed at people who know nothing to make them see the D70 in a good light, MLU for D70 "Yes, only to clean sensor" er doesn't that mean NO.
