rodeo_joe1
I had this 'hand coloured' treatment in mind as soon as I saw the wilted rose someone had placed in the hands of the over-sentimental victorian memorial. Another, straight, B&W conversion. I thought about revealing the colour of the ivy. Maybe another time. Coolpix P5000 used.

Sanford
I think I'm coming to the realization that my Nikon D50 just can't cut it in the 21st Century. It does well enough in sunlight at base ISO, and it is always fun to shoot with a classic, but 6mp just doesn't leave any room to crop. I've become a sloppy photographer with digital and need to fix things up a bit in post. Well, off to my 12mp D300.

ilkka_nissila
This has been a very good winter week. It looks like it's the best winter in my area close to a decade (if one likes low temperatures and lots of snow). Emäsalo, Porvoo, D850, 19 PC. f/11, 1/1.3 s, ISO 64. Temperature -21 C and "how it feels like" -31 C. It really did feel cold! :-)

rodeo_joe1
The lens was shifted all the way down. Thanks for the response Ilkka. I've used down shift for flower carpets, and it does give a unique perspective.
