Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! I'd hate for another year of Nikon Wednesdays to go by without my having been pulled into another bird dog puppy shoot. Here are some out-takes from the past weekend's fuzzy portrait session with a littler of 6-1/2 week old German Shorthaired Pointers (my favorite breed!). A good December to all, and ... share some photos! All with a D810 and a either a 105/2.8 macro or a 35/1.4 both from Sigma. Buff lighting.

ShunCheung
There is a Chinese restaurant in the San Francisco area that has fun dishes such as this one. You just don't feel like eating it and damage the art work. Nikon Z6 with the 24-70mm/f4 S kit lens, 61mm, f5.6, 1/50 sec and ISO 200
ShunCheung
Nikon Z6 with 24-70mm/f4 S kit lens at 32.5mm, f8, 1/100 sec and base ISO 100 The Z6, and presumably the Z7 also, is excellent for landscape photography. Wide-angle lenses are no longer compromised due to the mirror. The EVF is wonderful at low light as it can brighten up everything.. However, under full sunlight, I still prefer the optical viewfinder, as looking thru the EVF still gives me a bit of the feeling of looking into a television.
