The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! A good Nikon Wednesday to all, this 19th week of 2018. Though spring is in full swing here, I'm reaching for a quick indoor shot done in support of my favorite local jewelry maker. Didn't have time to set up proper product lighting - sometimes you just have to bounce a speedlight off the ceiling, and use some white mat board to control things a bit. Any quick work thrust upon you this past week? Share! D810 at ISO 500, 1/100th and a Sigma 35/1.5 ART at f/13. Bounced Nikon Speedlight, reflectors.
D500 with AF-S 80-400 at 90mm, f/20, 1/13s, ISO 100 D500 with AF-S 300/4E VR, f/11, 1/200s, ISO 100 D500 with AF-S 200-500/%.6E VR at 500mm, f/8, 1/3200s, ISO 560
Haven't shot much lately, but my students had a potluck so I shot some rare (for me) people pictures. Nikon D750+24-85vr.
In the work thrust upon department, not much photogenic, but my excavator broke a track, so I ordered a new pair, and spent the morning and a little of this afternoon replacing them. Here's the happy result, all but the cleanup and the tensioning done.
Otherwise, not too much last week, but we did get out a litte. Here's a nice little pattern of swirling water at Frog Hollow: as usual, error message, will try on edit.....
And here's the remains of an old mill, now just a picturesque frame for the water.... All shots here D7100, 16-85 lens....
A Lotus Elan!!! I had one, a 1967, BRG, of course. Gluing the fiberglass bumper on, priceless. The whole thing is fiberglass. You do NOT want to be in an accident with one (DAMHIK).
