Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three images per week, so share some work! Here we go again, Nikon folks - can't predict how we'll all experience this latest stab at a rebooted photo.net, so we'll just have to make a go of it. Since PN is undergoing some construction, I'll share another screen grab crop from some shooting I'm doing as I follow along with a crew that's building a house nearby. Nope, not a Nikon camera, but it was a Nikon lens! Best of luck to everybody on the new tools here - looking forward to seeing some shiny new images in this new format. rodeo_joe1
I recently treated myself to a new set of kitchen knives. I thought I'd do a product shot while they were still in pristine condition. D7200 + PB4 bellows as tilt/shift adapter. 115mm lens of unknown make @ around f/6.3. Dieter Schaefer
Let's give it a try. Nikon D7100, Nikon 70-200/4 at 200mm, 1/800s, f/8, ISO 280 Can't seem to get to display an image linked from flickr here - worked fine on the old site; functionality apparently didn't carry over. So I am back to having to make a 1000 pixel wide image myself again instead of just linking to the one that's already on flickr.

Matthew Currie
Winter winter winter, and nothing much outside but gray sky and snow. The annoying but colorful little milkweed bugs have come in from the cold, though. This with D3200 and compugraphic lens
sjmurray
Yesterday as I was going out to the store I noticed my car had some interesting snow/frost from the night before, so I grabbed some shots before scraping off the windows.

Andrew Garrard
Jon: Intersting. Am I allowed to ask what it is? Weirdly my Macbook lets me connect via Safaris, but not Chrome; it might be a cache thing. Experiment time. As a break from Yellowstone images, here's a few snaps from Vancouver; I'll try to have done more triage by next week. Confused seagulls on frozen Lost Lagoon, Vancouver. Andrew Garrard
And finally... sunset(ish) from Vancouver Lookout. Which could really do with a section that didn't have windows (I have a lovely image of a blurry thing that may or may not have been an eagle if there hadn't been industrial glass in the way), but it's something. And it's this or yet another image of the steam clock (and I didn't even bother to take a tripod). birdied
Been a while since I posted . Recently acquired the Nikon 200mm micro, and loving it. Trying to achieve greater than 1:1, these shots have the 5T and /or 6T stacked on the lens. I have no idea what magnification the 2 diopters stacked gave me. Drops were placed on the flower petal with a syringe. D810, on tripod, manual focus using live view. 2 speed lights. Cropped only for composition. Images were 2 to 16 shots focus stacked. . Edited February 8, 2017 by birdied
