<p>It must be Nikon Wednesday, because I'm up late doing post on a few hundred vehicle shots. This time, it's Is It Straight Madness. If it wasn't exciting enough to try to square up an ultra-wide in tight quarters when you're shooting all sorts of parallel lines, in comes a regulation Sprint Car, which has deliberately tilted axles and angled wings to handle the one-direction circular nature of that sport's races. <br /><br />Shot any parallel craziness? <p>This Sumatran Tiger I found at the San Diego Zoo, was behind 1 inch glass. I used my Nikon FA, Nikkor 180mm 2.8 ED AIS, and placed the front of the lens right up to the glass. I think I got her attention!</p><div></div>

<p>This was taken in total shade. Made such rich colors but challenged myself with shallow depth and slow shutter. Got alot of blurred pics but the ones that were in focus were so colorful. Nikon D3X, Nikon 300 2,8, 1/160 sec, F/2.8, ISO 400</p><div></div>
