Happy last Wednesday of 2013, fellow Nikonistas (and a Merry Christmas to all who are enjoying this particular Wednesday in that way). I'm up past midnight wrapping a couple of presents. Which means coffee. Which means grinding some beans. Which means using the same Moulinex coffee grinder that I received as a Christmas present over 20 years ago. 20 years! That means that this apparently indestructible kitchen appliance has ground beans for well over 15,000 pots of coffee. But I've still got some Nikon bodies that have lasted longer! Hope everyone has a peaceful day, and we'll catch up next Wednesday, on the first day of 2014.

00cGBH-544421384.jpg.68e13a4fcacb393e6376eb1e4fd6bf74.jpg

I recently inherited this old 'Spong' hand-cranked coffee grinder, which I reckon might even outlive your Moulinex Matt.
Best grinder I've used to date; 5 quick turns of the handle and you've got a mug's worth of ground coffee!
Sorry about the quality of snap though. Just a quick handheld shot by (not much) available light.

00cGCO-544424684.jpg.90b8919fff5d788d6f4181485c2cae72.jpg

I took this with my D300, 24-120 Nikkor and Sb 900 flash. Merry Christmas to all and thank you to all as well. I follow this forum, the Classic Manual Cameras, Modern Film Cameras and the Leica and Rangefinders Forums vigorously. I truly value what I have gleaned from reading the various posts throughout the years. Thanks again!

00cGDE-544426784.jpg.b84b80dd38034b615ff8e8f686114e56.jpg
