<p>A happy Nikon Wednesday to everyone. A great collection last week! I can tell there are a lot of people who change their photographic routine as spring arrives. For me, that includes picking up where I left off last fall, covering bird dogs in the field as they train and are tested. Here, a young Vizsla is bounding through some low cover on the back course of a junior hunt test. They don't move very efficiently at that age, but they make up for it with pure enthusiasm. Has spring got you and your Nikon gear fully in its grip? Share a photo!</p><div></div>

<p>Taken a couple of years ago, but just processed today. Cropped square, set the background to black and white, then faded it to black, sharpened. A great egret and a snowy egret fishing in Santa Barbara, California.</p><div></div>

<p>I found out that on a dull day B&W works better....<br>

<p>A family of Eastern Bluebirds has moved into my backyard. They seem like a nice young couple, so I'm letting them stay rent-free. Here's Papa.</p><div></div>
