A recent day spent with those for whom I'm particularly grateful (first responders and those who commit to military service), gave me a chance to see something else I've always enjoyed - a hard working bird dog outside of its usual element. This Lab/Pointer mix and his MP handler specialize in working disaster scenes, looking for people in trouble. Pointed your Nikon gear at something you'll be thinking about this week? Share a photo!

jeannean_.
Happy Wednesday! I've been seeing a lot of Monarch butterflies lately, so thought I would share one with you. I usually find them on the lavender Crucita bush, but liked this on the Butterfly Milkweed plant, since it's about as close to "Fall Colors" as we have down here. Hope everyone in the US has a Happy Thanksgiving, and for those friends elsewhere, have a happy day!
