Nikon View- How to automate uploading images to computer

I have Nikon View 6 and unlike Nikon View 4, it asks for the name of

the directory where files should be uploaded. This requires that I

make a new directory every time. With Nikonview 4, it automatically

uploaded the files to the computer and give the new directory a

sequential number. I can´t do that with NV6. I can´t find any

preferences or options either that would allow me automate and it is

royal pain each time. I use a Nikon 995. Help Please!

For NV 6, hook the camera up or put a card in your card reader. Then when the transfer window comes up, click on the "Change" button. From there you will be able to specify a default directory to have your images transfered to. Click the checkbox under that if you want a new folder created for each transfer. You can also specify other options for transfering too. Like if you just want images taken on certain days. Back at the transfer window you can specify other options by clicking on the "Tool" icon near the top. Hope this helps.
