Nikon Unveils the DF-M1

With the new 500mm PF mounted on a Z7 with the DF-M1 on top, all mounted on a shoulder pod, you're going to get in trouble/ shot pretty quick if you try and use that in a public area....:(

 

Mounted on top of a gripped D850 with the 800mm 5.6mm on a shoulder pod someone's gonna call the Army!

 

I just get a feeling it's way too high above the natural eye line. ??

 

Agreed, maybe the shoulder pod makes it look so-much worse, but never-the-less....:cool:

If it knows the body it is mounted on and the distance to the subject (which the camera can provide), it could compensate for parallax errors. Not sure if it will be that sophisticated, though.
