michael_gordon1
Does anyone here have any recent experience with the "Nikon School of Photography"? Each of the courses now has "digital" in its title (http://www.nikonschool.com/) and I wonder whether the introductory course would be useful for film users.Thanks. danny_liao
If you don't know anything about photography, it's a good starting point to learn. But is it worth the money???? I didn't think so. If you DO know the basics of photography, such as setting f-stops, shutter speed, and type of different lenses (like I did when I attended), than it will seem nothing more than a sales pitch. And in THAT case, its really not worth the money. A 8 hour long sales pitch that you paid some $$$ for. If I recall correctly, it wasn't cheap. kevin7
looks like someone got the same email as i today. would welcome input on the 'Digital 201' and the 'Digital Workflow' classes. I think of myself as an adv amateur and quite experienced at digital workflow already - my gut says not worth it, but if they can shed light improvements, it may be?? kent_demas1
I attended the 201 class last February in the San Francisco Bay Area. The course was terrific and really emphasized the importance of Color Management. I would recommend it.
