dan.hughesoptimideas.com
My Nikon LS 9000 scanner stopped displaying image on preview or image on the desktop when button pushed. The mechanics all work, the sounds of scanning are the same just no image. The data of size and mg is displayed on the bottom as usual. Is there a bulb in there that may have burnt out, I recall seeing a white light when scanning now I see a green light scanning.
kmac
It may not be the scanner but check for flickering LED anyway ... You are getting a data size at the bottom which means the scanner scanned the image, so it might be software trouble Scanner status is indicated as follows: Status LED LED Blinks Scanner busy. LED Flickers 1.5 ×/second) error. Turn scanner off, wait about for at least 5 s, and turn scanner on again Parts Of The Scanner - Nikon 9000ED User Manual [Page 12] Page

JDMvW
Unfortunately, these things are not immortal. Checking connections and "rebooting" are always good first steps. Glad yours is "back".
