Rene11664880918
This morning after I woke up, the first thing I did, as usual, was to check what was going on at Photo Net (Nikon Forum).
What I found was C.P.M. van het Kaar's thread about View NX update http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00bMqh
I went to update and kept looking around Nikon's site. It was a great surprise to find out how easy it is to work with the new Nikon site NIKON IMAGE SPACE http://nikonimagespace.com . Until last year I used to use iCloud but now it is gone. Since I hate Facebook I have been wondering what to use to show family and friends personal pictures. In my case I find this site really useful and it was a great surprise to find out it also comes with an iOS app to use it with mobile devices. I think this is really great from Nikon.
One more app..... Until now I have been using iBook to download the Nikon manuals into my iPhone and iPad, but now Nikon has its own app MANUAL VIEWER https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/manual-viewer/id468999172?mt=8 , where you can down load the manuals right from the Nikon web site.

Well, I am really glad about this and since I didn't know anything about it I thought there might be more people like me. That's why I am starting this thread...... I hope the links work.... If not..... SORRY...... Please Google yourself...... Cheers!!!

Wouter Willemse
The new Nikon offering does look better than the old one.... but maybe an alternative tip: Skydrive (skydrive.live.com) offers 7GB of space free, and has very nice features for online albums (slideshow, downloading full size originals, display EXIF data) - plus you can decide to not share publicly but only with selected contacts.
I never really used this feature till a few days ago, but it works really well. But, as with all these services, you do need to create an account (if you have hotmail, though, you basically already have it). There is a Skydrive app for Android, iOS and of course all flavours of Windows.

I do envy the iOwners now for the manual-viewer, though. Sounds really nice. Little chance Nikon will find Windows Phone important enough to do the same for my pleasure :-))

rodeo_joe1
I've been using the existing PDF manuals and an Android phone with Adobe's reader app for over a year, and before that I used a Windows Mobile smartphone to read them. And before that I carried them on a Windows mobile PDA. So what's so new?

Rene11664880918
Rodeo..... As I said before, I have also been carrying the manuals on my iPad since iBook came out.... The point is that now it is so easy..... open the app, look for the manual you need and download it in one click.....
