Nikon MC-25 2-Pin to 10-Pin Adapter Cord w/ MC-12A and F5 or F100.

I have an MC-25 + MR-3, and it does activate the meter + focusing on a D1 or F5 when pressed half way. My MR-3 must be really sensitive, however, because the difference in how much to press to focus+meter and then to release the shutter is nearly nothing. I think that is due to the mechanical construction of the MR-3, and not due to the electrical characteristics of the MC-25 cable. If I press really careful, I can meter and release separately.

Thanks for the information! Ill pick one up.

Ive tweaked my MC-12A to have a nice "set trigger feel." I put a small self tapping screw in the underside of the fire button to set the backlash so there is only about 0.7mm to 1mm from half press to fire. The MC-30 is so sloppy I cant tell when it will fire or when it will stop firing. Im used to setting all motor drives to C and squeezing off single frame.

Yesterday I used my MC-30 and wasted three frames because Im spoiled by the MC-12A.
