Nikon lens Adapter for the Kiev 88 ?

Julian, it means the opposite. You can use Kiev lenses on Nikon cameras. The other way very rarely makes sense. Nikon lenses have an image circle of 43mm. If you would manage to fit you end up with a round image of 43mm diameter on a 56mm*56mm size neg/slide. An other point is the difference in lens mount to film plane distance. 35mm SLR's usually have something like 5cm where as 6*6 SLR's have 8cm. You would end up in the macro range unless you remove the last the 3cm of the lens and attach an other lensmount. (This is some times posible with tele lenses).

To express it a bit more polemic:

Have you ever compared the prices of a Carl Zeiss 50mm/1.7 Planar for Contax to a 50mm/4.0 Distagon for Hasselblad? If you could use the Planar, why do you think they sell any of the slow Distagons? (Don't argue with the in lens shutter, this doesn't hit the problem.)

I am afraid there have been a few to many questions of people, which want to use lenses on larger format than these have been designed for. I hope to have clarified the underlying problems a bit.
