Nikon F5 specific question

Hello. Can anyone tell me if I can set a nikon F5 to fire 3 or more multiple exposures consecutively via self timer??

I'm aware of any way to do it, and a quick skim through the manual doesn't show it.

 

You COULD potentially set a 3 shot "tight" bracket(maybe +/-1/3 stop) but that's about as close as you're going to get I'm afraid.

If you have the MF28 back you can do timed interval shots but only the first could be multple exposure.

Roman, your question's not quite clear. What exactly are you trying to do?

 

I read it as 'taking 3 or more sets of multiple exposures'. I.e. at least 6 exposures in all, on 3 different frames. That's not possible automatically.

 

However, it could also be read as taking 3 exposures on a single frame, which might be possible.

 

So which is it?

 

It might be easier to take completely separate exposures and combine them after scanning. Wet printing, unfortunately, doesn't combine negative images in the same way as multi-exposures..... unless. Unless you make thin negatives by under-developing, and then stack them in the enlarger.

You can have the multiple exposure mode to stay on until you cancel it but I don't how to fire 3 shots with the selftimer. (except when you do bracketing).

Yep, my bad CSM 13. In that case a MF28 should do it for him. What is the minimal time that can be set with that data back?
