an grianghrafadóir
<p>I've made a little cut out and keep Custom Settings Card for my F5 after searching the web in vain. Feel free to download it and use it here: </p> <p><a href="http://brensheehan.tripod.com/nikonf5customcard.doc">Nikon F5 Custom settings card</a> </p>
rayliguori
For future reference, I have purchased laminated cheat sheets on eBay from a fellow named Bert Sirkin (I may have the spelling wrong). They are handy to keep in the camera bag. I have them for the F100, D100 and SB28. Pretty sure he makes one for the F5 as well. In any event, thanks for sharing! maxz
It seems like Tripod doesn't allow you to link directly to files from the outside so the link above does not work unless you set the HTTP-header "Referer" manually (for example "<TT><A HREF="ftp://sunsite.dk/projects/wget/windows/">wget</A> --referer=http://brensheehan.tripod.com/ http://brensheehan.tripod.com/nikonf5customcard.doc</TT>"). I hope you don't mind that I downloaded your card and converted it to PDF as Alex requested (using the free <A HREF="http://sector7g.wurzel6.de/pdfcreator/index_en.htm">PDF Creator</A>).</P>
an grianghrafadóir
Max, Thanks for the tech help. It seems Like I'm the only one able to click on my own link for some reason that is technically beyond me.

vincetylor
It never worked...I tried all three links above. Great idea though.
alex_lofquist
Great. That works very well, though I may have to carry a magnifier now.
alex_lofquist
I think that I will just unscrew my lens to view it, decide on the function, execute the function, then replace the lens while I remember what I am trying to do. Seriously, I think that the card will be a valuable aid.
spencer_hahn
Doesn't the F5 come with one? Mine did, tucked inside the user's manual.
alex_lofquist
Yes the camera does come with a custom settings card, but it is certainly not as compact. For those who are interested, Moose Peterson's website (moose395.net) has comments on the choice of functions.
