oscarrosas Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 Hello My camera has some metering issues-when I'm in aperture priority and change the aperture by one stop the exposure time does not change by one stop, also when I turn on the lcd light, the lcd turns off. I'm wondering if this is a serious issue or if it's only battery related If you meant that pushing the little red button to illuminate the LCD then the LCD goes out then it's the battery. Any way the LCD only stays on for 16 sec unless you keep your shutter release half pressed. But as long as the battery is sufficient to keep the LCD on the meter should work. If it doesn't change with the aperture but does change when you're pointing the camera at different light levels then it's the AI coupling problem.
