elmroc
Hi everyone,
Does Nikon make an eyepiece extender for it's viewfinders? I'm looking for something similar to Canon's EP-EX15.
The reason being, i find myself frequently hitting the menu button with my nose while i'm holding my D700 to my eye. When i change focus points with the multi selector, the focus point(s) do not change, and it's because i've activated the menu button with my nose. I then have to take the camera from my eye, close the menu, and then move the focus points.
FWIW, i'm a right eye shooter. I've tried shooting left eyed, but can't get used to it.(an my nose is not that big either..(lol)

Thanks for the help

John
georg_s1
John,
I've experienced the same problem - scrolling thru the whole menu with the nosetip. I'm planning to buy the DK-17M for this reason and to make focusing the 50/1.2 a bit easier. Sorry - no actual experience with this eyepiece yet.
georg (my nose is a good bit above the norm)
dan_brown4
My solution has bee to get used to shooting with my left eye, but now my nose and my thumb on the selector control have to fight it out from time to time.
