Nikon D3000

<p>I bought a Nikon D3000 yesterday. I am pretty much a beginner at photography so am going through everything on it. One thing i find is that the continuous mode in the 'Guide' setting doesnt seem to work. Same is the 2s setting. The 10 second one works fine. Is there something I am doing wrong?<br>

<p>I'd guess the Nikon software guys did not see a need for 'C' mode with the D3000 in the Guide mode.</p>

<p>You are talking about both continuous shooting and the self-timer settings, right? Maybe it <em>is</em> that Nikon just omitted them from guide mode. Are you able to set the camera to 2s outside of Guide mode? Can you shoot Continuous outside of Guide mode?</p>

<p>Ah yes, I can take continuous photos provided i dont use the built in flash. <br>
