Nikon 35-70mm F 2.8 AFD Discontinued?

That page is in Japanese, but I am sure you can figure it out.</p>

<p>The 35~70/2.8D has been discontinued since 2005, although new stock certainly lingered in the supply chain for some time after that. But you're probably a few years too late now for a new one. :-)</p>

<p>They show one on Amazon for $599.00 from a secondary vendor. Hard to believe but it is there.<br>

<p>look for it used, should be $300-350 - it is a very good lens..... dunno about the UK, though.</p>

<p>Thanks for the comments, I had this lens in the AF version for a many years and found it first class, then parted with it when I purchased the 24 - 70mm, and have regretted the decision ever since, I am now on the lookout for a mint condition one, regards<br>
