Time to upload just one image - your favorite - from this or last week. Make sure it is 700 pixels or less in width - AND - make sure to enter a caption in the caption box on that page where you've uploaded. Some details about the shot would be helpful By posting - you agree to allow your image to be chosen for discussion and critique for the week. One will be chosen at random. This is not a contest - but simply an image that we'll discuss. Positive as well as constructive suggestions are what will occur. HOWEVER - IF you wish to post your image but DO NOT WANT to be considered for critique - please say so in your caption. Images that show as a link will be deleted and you'll be asked to re-post. Newcomers and Pros are both welcome to post in this thread. The thread will be closed tomorrow - late in the day or early eve. Look for the choice on Wednesday. Please do not start the critique in this thread ;-) If I'm late posting the choice - someone send me an email.... I'm crazy busy helping Josh with Site help emails.. Cheers..

Hi,
Here is a dancing shot from the latest wedding I shot. What do you think of this one? What would you do a little differently? I love the emotion.Thanks.
Image info:
Tom and Nichole's wedding, ceremony/reception outside. May 29th in Washington, USA.
Nikon D90, ISO 1600, 1/40 sec @F2.8 Tamron 17-50 @ 46mm MF with a star filter(I love how the effect work for lights at receptions, and I know it's not for everyone, but it is for me...), Manual settings. Used the SB600 to bounce off the top of the white tent. Taken at approx 10:15 pm outside. Very dark!

This shot was taken in the Madison, Wisconsin capitol building last Saturday. Since it was raining outside, we had to get creative for group portraits.
It was quite dark inside the building, and while I don't have the metadata with me (I'm at work), it was a very slow shutter speed and quite wide-open aperture (no flash.)
Lens: Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 at 24mm. Camera: D300

00TbAW-142207584.jpg.8f3f3a05c4aafe3b86178f5b15be1e16.jpg
