I want to rent some lighting equipment(some location strobes) to do some personal work. Any recommendations on a reliable place to rent said equipment. Part two of my question is, does anyone know what the photo scene here in New Orleans is like for both fine art and commercial... how much photo work is there around here? Thanks Much... sam_portera Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Ryan I live in New Orleans (well technically on the outskirts) and I know of no one that rents equipment in or near the city. There is a public darkroom called the New Orleans Darkroom that you can use for a fee. There are a lot of galleries on Julia street. Anyone from New Orleans should know about the arts district. If I was going to check with dealers in the area these would be the first I would check with...
