mediumformat
I just yesterday was looking on the Lumedyne site and you should really click on the "What's New" link and read about the new equipment coming out in January. http://www.lumedyne.com/SSWebsite/New2004.htm I just started using a "classic" Lumedyne setup (400ws with 200ws control booster) and I'm very pleased with its performance. I can really see using the new "Action Packs" -- power packs that have especially short flash duration. Lumedyne quotes 1/1,500th of second flash duration for the 400ws pack, and 1/3,000th of a second on the 200ws pack! This is faster than many a/c powered pack/head systems. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying the new equipment at some point.
twmeyer
yeah, me too. The battery life will probably be greater, and the control is certainly greater than with my classic system. I love it when good gets better... t
