mark liddell
Just a post to say thanks for the advice given to me in a thread I posted a few months back (http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00JrOY) I have now finally got my camera with all the accessories up and running. I went for the Ebony RSW45, 6x9 roll film adapter. Being able to use my RB67 backs is great and has saved a load of money. The minimal movements of the RSW are no problem for me at all shooting landscapes and I really like the simplicity. Everyone who has seen the camera has remarked at move beautifully it is made. The whole outfit weighs in at slightly over half of what my RB67 did and I get the option of 4x5 and some movements. Having lens tilt gives so much more freedom for compositions especially given my use of normal lenses for landscape where dof is often a serious problem without movements - I?m still getting used to focusing accurately with tilt though. I will be sticking with 6x7, at least for a while. I feel more free to take creative risks shooting roll film but as I improve the quickload holder will come out of it?s box :)
