georges_pelpel
Adobe has just posted updates for Lightroom, Camera Raw, and DNG Converter that support the D810.
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html

All is not rosy though as some camera profiles introduce huge amounts of Moire (or at least what I think is moire).
The problem happens with the following profiles: standard, landscape, monochrome, and vivid. All other profiles such as Adobe Standard, neutral, portrait, and flat are perfectly ok.
Nikon Capture NX-D doesn't have this problem.

Check the upper part of the image below:

ilkka_nissila
It looks like a software glitch. Maybe the moire reduction is off in the affected profiles, or there could be some coding or lookup table error.

Early adopters' life is wonderful, isn't it? ;-)

georges_pelpel
So moire is not, I should have said posterization.
ilkka_nissila
To me it doesn't look like posterization, the tones in the image appear continuous even in the areas affected by the rings.
dan_south
I don't see any moire.
jonb
I discovered the same kind of problem in some of my D810 images. It certainly appears that some of the camera profiles have problems. I'd stick to the Adobe Standard profile (or just make your own) for now.
